Brenda's Children's Literature Web PAge

Welcome!

KSHI from Zuni. My name is Brenda Natewa and I live in Zuni, New Mexico.I am currently in college working towards my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  I tutor GED students to help them obtain their High School diploma. I enjoy going to school and working with students.  I love newborn babies and dogs. I enjoy reading, riding a bike, taking walks, and hanging out with my family and friends. I especially enjoy the company and the long talks I have with my older sister Diane.  I'm also in an organization known as the Southwest Forest Firefighter.  This organization helps fight the ever dangerous forest fires we have been having all summer.

As a child, I enjoyed going to school.  My favorite subjects in school were Math and reading.  During this time in my life, I was introduced to the series, "Little House", written by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  It was not until my adulthood that I came across the American Girls Collections series, written by Valarie Tripp.  I enjoy these series because I like going back in history and imagining myself living in these time periods.
